[Kyoko heads on over to the market, and... is immediately tempted to steal something to snack on. There are even some snacks on display right over there. They're calling her. It'd be so easy...

... but then she wouldn't be able to stand here while she waits for Drifter, because the salesperson would have line of sight on her, and could recognize their merchandise and remember they didn't sell anything to her. Not worth it.

Kyoko links her fingers behind her head and grumbles to herself.]

[The bad influence that is drifter picks her out from the crowd (via the snacks that also draw his attention) and he walks up to her.]

Lots of preservatives. Good call.

[He might even recommend some low key theft before the day is over. He doesn't want everything they do to have a paper trail.]

I was talkin' to somebody about plantin' some caches around the city. Seemed like a good call to include food in 'em.

There's nothin' wrong with that, [Kyoko grumbles, part of her attitude in response to the idea she should eat healthy. Mami definitely would've commented on it, now that she thinks about it. (She doesn't want to think about it.)

But his explanation clears her mood, piques her interest. ... but doesn't change her thought trajectory.] Preservatives would be a good idea, then. So it's still fresh whenever someone goes to use 'em.

[AKA, he's thinking about some stealing.]

[One of them buys. One of them steals. If one gets questioned, Drifter uses his ghost to pass the receipts all discrete like. Easy peasy.]

I just had a few commissions come in, so I say we could get a few bagfuls each pretty easy.

[And he's very good at being distracting and loud and boisterous.]

[Even better when he can flirt with someone behind the counter. Best when they don't want him to. Then they're not just focused on getting him out, they'll not be eager to chase after him.]
