[ Was there a reason for it? ...but he doesn't want to ask, so Tidus lets the conversation slip. Let his thoughts take over while they walk if David has nothing he wants to say. They still have a destination, after all. ]

I know it sounds pushy to say that, but you never know when you'll need it. Like, when robots will randomly attack or there will be explosions. Or someone might need to find you in the night for help.

[That last one is said with a hint of suggestion, because David is trying to feel the guy out.]

If I can help, you just ask me. [ He may be saying it with more certainty than he can currently promise, but it doesn't stop him. ] I'll find out what I can do, and I'll ask Yuna too. But— I might be rusty. She was the better one out of us. I was better at fighting than magic.

I had to learn how to use a sword around the time I met her. I can mix the two, [ fighting and magic, ] but give me a sword, and I can do more damage.

[ That makes him think though. ] Is there anywhere to practice? Magic I mean. Or anything. I don't have a sword anymore.

[ Would he even be able to get a sword here? ]
