[fourth floor lounge isn’t that far away, so it only takes a few minutes for jason to arrive. he makes his way straight toward cissie without a word, intending to wrap his arms tightly around her as soon as he’s finished closing the space between them.]

[Cissie is more than willing to let Jason pull her in and hold her; it's exactly what she needs after what they've just witnessed. She presses her face into his shoulder and hangs onto him as tightly as he's holding her. She's shaking. All she can think about, aside from the horrific executions, is seeing Jason drugged and dragged out of the ballroom by the iterations, and what could have happened--even if they hadn't realized how terrible things could get, then.]
